1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Coda website and services. By using this website or purchasing any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Coda provides the service of converting and re-engraving Finale files into Dorico, Sibelius, or MuseScore formats. We offer three tiers of service:

  • Basic Conversion

  • Standard Engraving

  • Advanced Engraving

3. Payment Terms

  • All services are invoiced upfront based on the selected tier and complexity of the score (number of staves and bars).

  • Payment is required in full before work begins.

  • Prices may be subject to VAT if applicable, and this will be clearly stated at checkout.

4. Delivery of Services

  • Upon receipt of payment, Coda will begin the conversion or engraving process. The estimated completion time will be communicated based on the complexity of the project.

  • Final files will be delivered electronically via email or Google Drive.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by technical issues beyond our control.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of payment for a full refund.

  • Once the work has commenced, no refunds will be issued.

  • If we are unable to complete the service due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a partial refund based on the work completed.

6. Quality Assurance

  • We aim to deliver high-quality services. If you are unsatisfied with the final product, you may request revisions within 7 days of delivery. Revisions will be completed based on the original scope of work.

7. Client Obligations

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your project.

  • You are responsible for obtaining the rights to the files you submit for conversion or engraving.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All original content, including logos, text, and design elements on this website, is owned by Coda and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

  • You retain ownership of your musical works, but grant Coda the right to modify them as per the service agreement.

9. Liability

  • Coda will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services or website.

  • While we take all reasonable steps to ensure data security, we cannot be held responsible for any data loss or breach beyond our control.

10. Data Protection

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Amendments

  • Coda reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
